How Our Class Cycles Work?
The salsa classes run in 4-week cycles, starting fresh each month. Whether your goal is to social dance or improve your style, you’ll enjoy progress and have fun. Singles and couples welcome.
SELECT YOUR LEVEL
Salsa 1 - The Fundamentals
Learn basic steps & routines, timing, and partner connection. Build confidence to dance socially.
Prerequisite: No experience required.
Salsa Level 2 - Triple T
(Traveling, Turns & Techniques)
Build cleaner turns, smoother transitions, and stronger partner connection.
Prerequisite: Completion of Level 1 or equivalent experience.
Salsa Level 3 - Social Dance Lab
Take your social dancing further with creative combos, stronger technique, and personal styling. Build confidence and versatility.
Prerequisite: Minimum 2 months of Level 2 or equivalent experience.
Attire: Comfortable attire and Latin dance shoes
FAQ for New Salsa Students

Wear comfortable casual or smart-casual clothing. Avoid tight gym outfits.
Clothes: Jeans, chinos, a comfortable shirt, or casual tops are perfect. (Layers are great, as you’ll warm up quickly).
Shoes: Choose dress shoes or sneakers with a smoother sole that allow you to turn easily. Avoid flip-flops, high heels and stilettos.

Yes, during the practice drill sections, students rapidly rotate partners. Learning to dance with different people is a core skill of social dancing, and accelerates your learning.
For Couples: In the partnering sections, couples are paired together, while other students rotate with one another and the instructors.

If you would like to review the basics, enroll in Salsa 1. Some new Salsa 2 students like to sign up for both classes.

We focus our classes on a streamlined 2-level system that gets you social dancing with a confident foundation.
More styling and complex combinations are taught in Salsa 3 - the Social Dance Lab.
We’ve found that practicing new routines in a friendly setting, surrounded by your fellow classmates, is the best way to become a fantastic dancer.

Yes, we teach other Latin dances including Bachata, Merengue, Rumba, and Cha-Cha in private lessons and workshops.
Salsa provides a great foundation for partner dance mechanics like connection and rhythm. It is faster to learn other styles once you know salsa.
